Client wins boost profits at management consultancy

Leeds-based management consultancy business, Hexagon Consultants, has reported a 51% increase in operating profit to £1.5m compared to the previous year.

The business says this has been achieved on the back of substantial client wins and an increasing trend for its clients to use more experienced Hexagon team members to add capability and capacity to their management teams in complex situations.

It adds the growth has come after the firm invested more than £500,000 in Centricity™, which is its direct-to-consumer proposition for branded manufacturers.

A spokesman for the business, which was founded in 2015 and is based in Queen Street, said: “The well-publicised support for a nuclear defence critical supplier plus substantial activities across the Vaccine Task Force and in Aerospace, have delivered great outcomes for our clients.

“Business transformation, operational improvements, large programme management, M&A and supply chain have all been hot topics for our clients.”

Peter Ahye, CEO, added: “We don’t just give advice, but we help to deliver the outcomes so vitally needed. Our modus operandi of bringing capability and capacity is resonating with clients.”
