Yorkshire business acquires call handling and vehicle recovery specialist

Huddersfield-based FMG has acquired GRG Public Resources Limited (GRG), which provides call handling for vehicle removal and emergency boarding of premises for the blue-light industry.

FMG is a fleet incident management and recovery firm, and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Redde Northgate plc.

It says the deal gives it a platform to expand and evolve its existing services into the blue-light arena.

The arrival of Stafford-based GRG, which handles police and fire services contracts, will enhance the breadth and customer proposition of FMG, bringing a further depth of knowledge and expertise through the addition of GRG’s own operatives and skilled personnel.
