Leisure scheme acquired for £9m

Clearbell UK Strategic Trust, which is advised by Clearbell Capital has acquired a cinema and restaurant scheme in Doncaster for £9m.

The 39,603 sq ft Doncaster Leisure Park which is located close to Doncaster Dome, the racecourse and the Herten Triangle development includes a Vue Cinema, restaurants which are let to Nando’s and Pizza Express has been sold by an institutional investor.

Following the deal the trust aims to take advantage of rebounding leisure and hospitality footfall following now pandemic restrictions have lifted.

Rob Cole, investment manager at Clearbell Capital, said: “UK property continues to bounce back strongly following the pandemic. Occupier demand for leisure in strategic locations is growing, whilst yields remain attractive with relatively few leisure opportunities trading.”

Clearbell was advised by BGP/Mcgregor Wyn and DTRE with the vendors were advised by Savills and ADS Real Estate Advisors.
