Property people: Adderstone Living and North Residential

Yorkshire affordable house builder, Adderstone Living, has appointed a new quantity surveyor as it continues to invest in developing client services and expanding its operations.
Jordan Priest will be involved with quantity surveying work and procurement management on developments throughout the Yorkshire region, including current new build projects for social housing provider Karbon Homes in East Cowton and Swinton.
Liaising with customers, subcontractors and material suppliers will be among key tasks as Priest, who brings over 10 years’ industry experience and expertise to the role, and the regional management team develop the Adderstone Living brand across the county.
Priest’s appointment follows the recent opening of Adderstone Living’s Yorkshire regional office in Carrwood Park on the outskirts of Leeds, where he will be based.
Currently employing 40 people, the company is investing in skills and talent to meet demand from local authorities and housing associations.
Regional director, Rick Long, said: “This is a further key appointment for our busy Yorkshire operations.
“We have a strong pipeline of work, which we see as key to attracting the best talent. Jordan’s appointment represents a positive move as we invest in resources to meet the demand going forward from our expanding client base.”

Estate agent, North Residential, has promoted director Lucy Crane who will now lead its Harrogate headquarters.
Having worked for Strutt & Parker in Harrogate for almost 10 years and lived in Ilkley since a child, Crane brings her in-depth local knowledge of the region and a wealth of national experience selling premium homes to benefit North Residential’s regional client base.
Crane, who joined North Residential in October 2024 to manage the estate agency’s expansion into Ilkley, will continue to lead its newest branch in the West Yorkshire spa town alongside her new role in Harrogate.
She said: “I am thrilled to now be heading up our Harrogate head office, in addition to continuing to lead our newest branch in Ilkley.
“It is a real dream come true to have the opportunity to manage our team and continue to drive our growth in Harrogate and across the region.
