Recruitment consultancy expands into second office

Specialist recruitment consultancy, Glu Recruit, is marking six years in business with the opening of its new Sheffield city centre office at Electric Works.

The business had already begun the year with a re-brand and a new website and the first half of 2022 has also seen several more members of staff join the firm’s Rotherham head office. Glu Recruit has also created a new construction division.

The opening of the second office in Sheffield will enable the company to expand into the city, working with more employers and jobseekers across the Sheffield City Region.

Rob Shaw, managing director, said: “Not only have we reached another anniversary milestone on our journey in business, but we’re also announcing another exciting venture for Glu – the opening of our new Sheffield office.

“This created opportunities for the Glu team to grow further and support more businesses across the region.

“Our long-term plans include expanding into more geographic areas, as well as offering an all-round recruitment service, so having a presence in Sheffield city centre is something we have been planning as part of our next phase of growth.

“As existing clients of Glu already know, we never do anything by half, and to mark the occasion we’re holding a birthday party to bring together the people of Sheffield and South Yorkshire in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.”

The firm will celebrate its sixth birthday with an event at 5.30pm on 14 July at the SteelYard at Kelham Island, Sheffield.
