Fintech business settles into newly transformed office space

Payment technology provider, Dojo, has taken on offices at @TheDock, alongside Hull’s Central Dry Dock and C4DI.
It is the latest business to move into C4DI in Hull’s Fruit Market, where work continues on its expansion.
Liz Briggs, workplace experience manager at Dojo, said: “Our recent ranking in the top three of the UK’s Best Workplaces for wellbeing and the top 10 of the UK’s Best Workplaces overall is down to our focus on creating work environments where our people want to be, which facilitate teamwork and support wellbeing.
“Our new home at C4DI delivers all this while also enabling efficient and effective working practices.”
The company had appointed interior design, fit-out and furnishing specialist, Chameleon Business Interiors, to transform the space into a new home for its 200 Hull-based staff.
The fit-out has delivered a flexible environment incorporating workspaces and desking for individual teams, as well as training facilities and meeting rooms.
It also includes a kitchen area, breakout spaces and places where staff can socialise informally.
Chameleon chairman, Shaun Watts, said: “We were excited by the opportunity to work with a brand as committed to providing a great working environment as we are.
“Their commitment to improving the wellbeing of their staff through a versatile space and to encourage teamwork meant they were the perfect client to align with.
“Dojo is well-known for being a people-focused business, and our team has enjoyed transforming the blank canvas at C4DI to a place where colleagues can collaborate and do their best work.
“As we continue with our commitment to sustainability, we prioritised the re-use of as much of Dojo’s existing office furniture as possible, enabling us to reduce waste while meeting the client’s needs.”
