‘Best-in-class’ workspace attracts global IT recruitment firm

Global IT recruitment business, Lorien, is shifting its Leeds base to a suite at Northspring, in Wellington Street.

The company, which has at least 13 offices across Europe and North America, is moving into a 3,700 sq ft suite on the fourth floor.

This is the first letting at the new property, which was agreed prior to the building’s practical completion.

Amenities at the property include a business lounge with two meeting rooms, a podcast studio, a Zoom booth, hot desks and a refreshments bar. There are also shower and changing facilities, a fitness suite and a landscaped roof terrace.

Knight Frank, Carter Towler and Savills are the agents acting for the building.

Elizabeth Ridler, partner at Knight Frank, said: I’m pleased Lorien are moving into the building. Northspring sets a high standard for office space in Leeds.

“The ground floor business lounge creates an impressive sense of arrival, since the launch we’ve seen a lot of interest in the office space.”

Northspring Wellington Street currently has 12 suites available to let, with two suites currently under offer. The building is part of the Northspring family, which has properties across the UK.

Mark Morris, director of Investream, added: “Northspring is committed to providing bestinclass workspace for its occupiers.

“As a result of the pandemic offices have had to adapt to the changing needs of businesses and we believe Northspring is a perfect example of how to make the workplace inviting for employees in this new era for office working.”
