Property agency and consultancy, Graham + Sibbald, has been working with a Scottish manufacturer on its growth across the UK, securing a new site in South Yorkshire this week.

Nu-Style Products has agreed to the acquisition on a leasehold basis of a 6,276 sq ft industrial unit on Shortwood Industrial Estate in Hoyland, Barnsley.

The acquisition represents the latest phase of the firm’s expansion plans. With its sites in Birmingham and Barnsley now secured, it is looking at opportunities across the Bristol area and South West England.

Bilal Ashraf, associate in Graham + Sibbald’s Manchester office, has been working with Nu-Style to identify the properties that suit its ambitions.

The property contains both offices and warehousing facilities and is one mile from junction 36 of the M1 motorway.

Steve Galbraith, managing director of NuStyle Products, said: “It’s fantastic to be working on NuStyle’s expansion across the UK.

“We’ve got some ambitious expansion targets and this new site in Barnsley is perfectly located for what we need and has great road links across the North.

“Having worked with Bilal on a previous project he knew exactly what we were looking for and quickly came up with a property that ticked all the boxes.”

Headquartered in Aberdeen, Nu-Style designs, manufactures and supplies a wide range of laminate and sheet metal products for the building and construction industries.

It works across several sectors, including education, healthcare, offshore, and the commercial market.

Ashraf said: “It’s fantastic to be working alongside NuStyle on their expansion across the UK. A Scottish business with real heritage, they want to expand the footprint and make the most of opportunities available across the country.

“We are now working closely with them to assess properties in Bristol and the South West area, and anticipate that we’ll see some activity there too.”
