Eat Leeds Restaurant Week signs First Bus partnership

Eat Leeds Restaurant Week returns to the city this summer in partnership with First Bus, enabling people to travel to their chosen restaurant via bus for less with a single £2 flat fare ticket.

Available to buy via the First Bus App, the ticket can be used at anytime, anywhere across West Yorkshire, allowing diners to travel into the city for less from across the wider region.

More than 30 restaurants have been confirmed so far including Iberica, Aagrah Leeds City Centre and Chapel Allerton and The Alchemist as well as Grand Pacific.

Amy Rolinson, manager of Eat Leeds said: “At Eat Leeds we are very aware that Restaurant Week is launching during a time when diners may be finding their living costs rising. Restaurant Week provides exclusive dining options at the fraction of a cost, but door-to-door, customers may experience other expenses, specifically travel costs.

“That’s why we’re thrilled to have First Bus as our partner for Restaurant Week this year. Thanks to their Single £2 Flat Fare tickets, we hope that more diners will be able to visit Leeds for less. This includes Leeds locals, as well as a broader audience from across West Yorkshire who can enjoy the fantastic food offerings Restaurant Week has available.”

John Godfrey, Head of Marketing for First West Yorkshire, said: “We’ve been supporting the leisure and hospitality sector for a year now to help them build their recovery from the pandemic, through a fund to boost new ideas, joint promotions with brands and travel partnerships.

“We’re delighted to support Eat Leeds in bringing people to great experiences all over the city and giving them a great value sustainable travel option for getting there.”

Customers are now able to redeem and book their Restaurant Week offers via the Eat Leeds website. As these curated menus are limited edition and available only from Monday 15 – Sunday 21 August, customers are encouraged to book early to secure their tables and to avoid disappointment.
