Tech business extends network footprint as part of wider UK roll-out

Growing tech firm Connectus has extended its network footprint in a move which will allow it to provide services to an increased number of UK regions.

Under the expansion plan, Doncaster-based Connectus will now deliver services at two new Cheshire business hubs in Canalside and Northwhich as well as in the Southside area of Birmingham and at Woodside on the Wirral.

The roll-out by the business-focused UK ISP and managed service provider is part of an ongoing network infrastructure strategy which will allow Connectus to work with more than 1,000 companies before the end of the year. It currently works with 820 clients.

Roy Shelton, CEO of the Connectus Group, said: “This is the next step in an ongoing development phase for our business.

“Our network roll out strategy is focused purely on businesses and will empower them on their digital transformation journey. Through secure hosting we will also help provide a fully managed cyber security offering along with IT support and service management.

“We are experiencing a growing demand for services as businesses look to bolster cyber defences, and support a growing demand for hybrid working.

“We are planning further investment to bring the number of companies we work with past 1,000 within the next three to six months.”
