Experienced finance professional Sarah Marshall has joined East Yorkshire-based Integra Buildings as the modular construction company’s finance director.

Marshall, who has 27 years of experience working in finance roles, was most recently in a finance role at Kingspan Access Floors in Hull.

Gary Parker, managing director at Integra, said: “Having recently celebrated our 25 th anniversary, we’re continuing to grow in a fast-moving and dynamic sector.

“Sarah’s appointment will add to the expertise in our leadership team as we deliver our current portfolio and support the board in their strategic plans for future growth including increasing our turnover to £60m and the future expansion plans for our site in Paull.”

McCormicks Solicitors of Harrogate has strengthened its management team with a new practice manager and accounts manager.

Sonia Jones has been promoted to practice manager to reflect her work in supporting all activities across the firm, including management, human resources and the smooth running of day-to-day activities.

Senior partner Peter McCormick said: “Sonia joined us in 2007 and has become more and more involved in the management of the firm so it was a logical step to reward her for all her hard work with this promotion.”

Hayley Firth has been appointed as accounts manager. She will work with Accounts Assistant Hollie Jackson to ensure the smooth running of the accounts department.

Employee benefits provider Aceso Health and Group Risk has made two hires, expanding the team at its Leeds head office and boosting its apprenticeship programme.

Kellie Page has joined the firm as group risk account executive. She joins Aceso with more than 20 years experience in financial services and almost a decade specialising in group risk, the insurance employers take out to protect staff for for death in service, critical illness, group income protection and employee sickness insurance.

School leaver Harry Rhodes has also joined Aceso’s Leeds office, gaining a place on the firm’s apprenticeship programme after GCSEs as a healthcare and group risk administrator.

Aceso executive director Mike Picken said: “Many of us at Aceso were colleagues of Kellie’s working together at Henderson Insurance Brokers, which was acquired by Aon. With her vast knowledge and experience of group risk, it is great to welcome her as a member of the team.”

He added: “We are also really pleased to welcome Harry on board at what we hope will be the start of a long career with Aceso. We are passionate about investing in future talent; our focus is on challenging the status quo in the employee benefits and insurance industry, to deliver innovative solutions that best help employers look after their staff in today’s difficult economic climate.

“Fresh new perspectives and ideas are essential to that approach and we’re committed to enabling youngsters flourish. Harry has enormous potential and he is being mentored by Aceso’s first apprentice Aaron Barton who has had a fantastic first year with us.”

Aceso Health and Group Risk is part of the Leeds-based Attis Insurance Group, which now has six offices across the north of England and Midlands and employs more than 100 staff.
