Latest appointments: New faces at Blacks; Gleeson appoints bid manager and more

LEEDS-based Blacks Solicitors has made a series of appointments across its employment, residential property and litigation departments.

Senior appointments include Richard Parr as partner in the employment team, who joins from Brooke North where he was head of employment, and Adrian Czajkowski who joins the litigation team as legal executive.

Mr Parr will support Blacks’ head of employment and managing partner Chris Allen.

He is a specialist in TUPE, employment issues in insolvency, executive termination packages, post-termination restrictions and commercial agents regulations.

Since joining the firm he has introduced an insurance-backed employment management system called Presidium, making Blacks one of only two firms in the region to offer the facility.

Mr Czajkowski joins after two years with Leeds-based Kelly & Co where he was head of litigation. At Blacks, he will be specialising in debt collection and general litigation.

Following successful completion of training contacts other appointments include Tom Moyes who also joins the employment team and Samantha Fitzgerald and Steven McMaster have been appointed to the residential property department.
