Nominations open for the Yorkshire Finance Leaders Awards 2023
Nominations for the Yorkshire Finance Leaders Awards 2023, which recognises the region’s brightest and talented finance stars, are now open.
Recognising, promoting and celebrating exceptional finance leaders in Yorkshire, the awards, now in its seventh year, showcase the achievements of regional finance directors, chief finance officers (CFO), financial controllers and wider finance teams, who are the bedrock of the region’s economic growth.
Winners of last year’s awards, which took place at The Royal Armouries and were attended by over 250 people, included NG Bailey’s chief financial officer Jonathan Stockton and Laura Green, finance director at Cubico UK, who were named joint winners of the Outstanding Yorkshire Finance Leader award, Lucy Bolton from Camira Fabrics and Alan Richardson from Evri.
Commenting on his win, Jonathan Stockton, chief financial officer at NG Bailey said: “It was a huge honour to receive the Outstanding Finance Leader of the Year award and to be recognised by my peers in the region. These awards are also a great way to recognise and promote financial leadership across the Yorkshire Region.”

The awards, which are sponsored by leading global professional services firm Aon, accountancy and business advisory firm BDO LLP, financial recruitment specialist Marks Sattin, and Lloyds Bank include the following categories – Best Diversity and Inclusion, Best Yorkshire Finance Leader in an International Company, Best Yorkshire Finance Leader in a Private Equity-Backed Company, Best Finance Leader in a Private or Family-Owned Business, Deal of the Year, Significant Impact, High Growth, Yorkshire Finance Team of the Year, and Yorkshire Finance Leader in a PLC.
