Shopfitting firm secures loan to support upcoming work

A North Humberside construction company has secured £100,000 to cover upcoming projects over the next five years.

Wolds Way Ltd – a domestic refurbishment and commercial shop fit company based at Horseshoe Park, two miles west of Kingston upon Hull city centre – has been running successfully since 2019.

The company required additional capital to support looming work and engaged Leonard Curtis to secure financing. Within a matter of weeks, the firm had a five-year, £100,000 unsecured loan.

Steve Dunwell, of Leonard Curtis, said, “We worked very hard to obtain as much financial info as we could to try and get Wolds Way the best deal in that sector. This was a great result for Wolds Way and will play a significant role in helping the company progress and fulfil its workload over the coming years.”

Wolds Way Director Eddie Swift said: “We had a number of projects in the pipeline for this year, and we required an influx of cash in order to meet this high demand. “I asked our company accountant Simon Hall of Flexibility Professional Services (UK) Ltd for funding assistance – and he pointed us in the direction of Leonard Curtis which proved to be an invaluable recommendation.

“It was clear they knew the best options for us given the circumstances and economic climate of the sector, and we were delighted they were able to secure us such a great deal in such a short time. We now have the capital and resources to continue providing great services to the Humberside region and further afield.”
