Insurance broker grows presence by launching another base

Yorkshire-headquartered JM Glendinning Insurance Brokers has further expanded its footprint by opening its latest office, in Hull.

The business has opened its office on Bond Street in the city centre, where account executive Dan Turner will be based.

Having recruited Turner to the business at the end of 2022, JM Glendinning says it saw an opportunity to grow its presence in his hometown of Hull.

Turner said: “Being born and raised in Hull, I have a great sense of pride to bring the JM Glendinning brand to the area, as well as the motivation to make it a success long into the future.

“With businesses still feeling the effects of the last couple of years, now could be the right time to begin working alongside a broker who can provide a personal approach and make sure people have got the correct levels of protection in place.”

Ian Vinall, managing director of JM Glendinning Guiseley, added: “As soon as we met Dan, it was clear he would be a great addition to the team.

“Opening an office in Hull is only the next step in supporting the ambition to grow in the area.

“We are also looking to recruit additional colleagues to join Dan, with our aim to become the broker of choice locally for business based in the area.”
