Administration on the cards for building services group

Bradford-based H Mitton Ltd has filed a notice to appoint administrators.

Companies within the building services group – which is headquartered in Cleckheaton Road, Low Moor, – Mitton Mechanical Services, Mitton Electrical Services and Mitton Aftercare, have also issued notices to appoint an administrator.

According to latest accounts for the year ended 27 January 2022, the group had a turnover of £33.7m (2021: £36.9m) pre-tax profits of £583,546 (2021: £232,889) and employed 312 people (2021: 341 staff).

The group began trading in 2000 and is led by managing director Steven Taylor. It includes a mix of contracting, aftercare, environmental management and climate control divisions, serving clients across the UK.
