Newly built HQ to begin fresh chapter for 190-year-old family-owned group
A brand new head office is being built in Hull for sixth-generation family business, John Good Group, and is set to be complete in early 2024.
Founded in 1833, the group’s divisions operates in the Travel, Maritime, Logistics, Property and Renewables sectors.
Its new HQ will be at Hesslewood Office Park, a development owned by Brooklands Property Holdings.
The building, called Quarry House, will be home to the John Good Group central services, Good Travel Management, and DAN Shipping with space to accommodate the company’s ongoing growth.

Walsh added the construction of the head office is using sustainable materials. He noted sustainability has been at the heart of the office build, even down to the boardroom carpet being made from recycled fishing nets.
