Party could be over for fancy dress costumer provider
A West Yorkshire firm which describes itself as “one of the largest online costume suppliers in the UK” is facing an uncertain future.
Fancy Dress Ball Ltd has filed a notice to appoint an administrator via Farleys Solicitors.
Halifax-based Fancy Dress Ball’s annual report for the year ended 31 March 2022, shows the firm owed creditors over £550,000. And at the time, the business employed 16 people.
The company – which has its premises at the Victoria Buildings, Raglan Street – has been trading since 2008.
Its website says the business has over 20,000 costumes, wigs and accessories in stock at any one time, adding that it sources costumes from across the world.
