House builder targets delivery of 500 homes across the region

Miller Homes, which currently has 10 developments located across the Yorkshire region, has unveiled its strategy for continued growth into 2024 and beyond.

The business says it aims to deliver about 500 new homes across the region in 2024, open a further three developments, and make four land acquisitions.

Justin Tranmere, regional operations director, Miller Homes Yorkshire, said: “The housing sector, across the board, has faced some challenges in the last year or so, however, it’s been pleasing to see that our new home sales have held steady as buyers have looked to find offers that support them and reap the energy saving benefits of buying new.”

Tranmere began his own career over 20 years ago and worked at Barratt Homes before joining Miller Homes in 2018 as Commercial Director.

He is supported by a senior team of regional commercial director, Martin Purdy; regional production director, Lee Harrison; regional sales director, Debbie Whittingham; regional land director Ian Thomson and regional technical director Andy Naylor.

He added: “I am very excited to lead the Miller Homes Yorkshire Region. At a time of significant change across the industry, the business is well placed to work with longstanding agents and partners, as well as new strategic partners, to achieve our aims and objectives.

“We have an extremely experienced and well-respected management team in the Yorkshire Region, with highly talented individuals who continue to bring quality developments to the area.

“I’m looking forward to leading the team throughout 2024 as we continue to implement our growth plans and work towards our regional goals.”
