IT recruitment group expands across the Pennines

Fruition IT, a Leeds-based leading IT recruitment business, has opened a Manchester office as the brand enters the next phase of its growth.

After receiving significant, majority investment in November 2023 from private equity firm Erisbeg, both Fruition IT, and sister company Fruition Consulting, aim to enter new markets and wider global territories.

The first phase of growth following this injection of capital is the Manchester office, which opens today – 18 March – at Lincoln Square, Brazennose Street.

Fruition IT has hired Joshua Ripley as practice lead, to open, run and manage the office alongside founder and CEO, Sarah Pawson.

Ripley will spearhead the companies’ launch in this location as the brand diversifies its offering into new sectors.

The group has recruited three heads into its clean technology team giving this new division 17 years’ worth of combined experience.

Last year The Fruition Group grew its turnover by 6.2%, finishing 2023 on £53.1m. It enters 2024 with plans to grow its internal team by 60%.

Commenting on the Manchester office launch, Pawson said: “The city is ripe with exceptional talent, innovative businesses and a brilliant dynamic culture.

“This will be our second office, with more in the pipeline. The office and new hires will allow Fruition IT to penetrate the clean technology sector, whilst offering the same quality of service, niche-expertise and tailored talent solutions, as we do our IT client base today.

“In addition to the clean tech market values aligning with ours, the market demand and growth cannot be ignored.

“Funding is rising, the need for talent is high and the passion across the globe to drive towards the goal of net-zero is monumental.”
