Property people: Switalskis
Switalskis has further enhanced its residential conveyancing team with the promotion of Hannah Midgley and the appointment of Wendy Welburn.
Midgley becomes a new business executive after joining Switalskis as an apprentice in 2021.
With four years’ experience in conveyancing, she progressed from completing a level 3 business administrator apprenticeship to becoming a paralegal.
Now, as a new business executive, she will engage with clients to provide high levels of client care and drive the conversion of new enquiries into new business.
She said: “Switalskis has enabled me to enjoy a fulfilling and progressive career so far. I know that I will always feel supported in my career path. I’m excited to see where this role will take me.”
Welburn joins Switalskis bringing 32 years of legal experience. She has 12 years of experience in residential conveyancing.
As a conveyancing assistant, she will support solicitors through residential sales and purchase transactions, dealing with the exchange and completion of matters.
She said: “I’m committed to providing the best possible experience for our clients and ensuring that every interaction is met with care and professionalism.
“I enjoy building relationships with people throughout their conveyancing journey and helping them achieve their goals.”
Sarah Cookson, head of the residential conveyancing department, added: “Our strengthened team will ensure our service remains as impressive as ever.
“It’s been a privilege to see Hannah relish each step and move through the ranks. I’m confident that, with Hannah’s promotion and the experience and client-focused approach Wendy brings, our team will go from strength-to-strength.”
Switalskis’ residential conveyancing team employs 27 people, who are based in its offices across Yorkshire.
