John Tordoff hoping to ‘inspire’ Business of Yorkshire Conference guests

One of the region’s most well-known business figures will deliver a key-note address at next month’s Business of Yorkshire Conference.
JCT600 executive chairman John Tordoff has led his family’s car company for more than 20 years, helping it become a billion-pound business.
With more than 50 dealerships throughout Yorkshire and the surrounding areas, JCT600 has become synonymous with showcasing and selling some of the most desirable vehicles on the planet. Only last month it opened its new Bentley/Rolls-Royce/Aston Martin showroom near Elland Road.
John will be the second key-note speaker of the day in the ‘Business Investment’ section (at 9.55am), following West Yorkshire mayor Tracy Brabin, who kicks the whole thing off.
He said: “As a proud Yorkshireman, I am pleased to be supporting this conference which will not only showcase the achievements of the region’s many successful companies, but also aims to inspire others to drive forward their businesses as we work together to foster Yorkshire’s continued economic strength.”
The Business of Yorkshire Conference is organised by www.thebusinessdesk.com and other major names to feature will be North Yorkshire Mayor David Skaith, tech millionaire Adam Hildreth and poet laureate Simon Armitage.
Tickets for the conference are still available and click here to secure yours.
The event starts at 9am and is split into three segments – business investment, people investment and regional investment.
There will also be five discussion panels, each one featuring five high-profile Yorkshire business figures, and the day will round off with 90 minutes of networking until 5.30pm.
