A FORMER gymnast has launched a chain of boutique salons across Yorkshire and is urging people to apply to become ‘the face’ of the brand through a campaign aimed at promoting healthy lifestyles.

Nutritional consultant Charlotte Armitage has set up one of the Beau and Joli hair and beauty salons on King’s Road in Harrogate and the ‘Beauty from the Inside Out’ campaign running on Facebook and Twitter aims to engage with both males and females who enjoy healthy lifestyles.

Entrants are asked to upload images of themselves and write a description on the photo tag about their lifestyles.

The winners, one male one female, will receive a prize worth £800 made up of a promotional modelling shoot, a dedicated profile section on the brand’s website, clothing, styling and product gifts.

MOBILE bar company Fluid Bars has won a contract from Farnell Land Rover showrooms across Yorkshire to provide a personalised bar service to celebrate the launch of the Range Rover Evoque.

The events are a thank you to customers who have ordered the new model from Land Rover.

“We are really pleased to have been successful in winning the pitch,” said managing director James Wrigley.

“We pitched a serviced based on a fully personalised bar experience for guests at each showroom.  We had to work hard to demonstrate what we can offer and highlight our experience from corporate events we have done over the last three years.”

THE new concept La Tasca Spanish Bar & Kitchen is celebrating the success of its flamenco dancing flash mob, which saw 20 flamenco dancers descend on the streets of Leeds for surprise performances in Millennium Square, on Briggate and in The Light.

General manager of La Tasca Leeds, Declan Woodward, said: “We had an absolutely fantastic response to the flash mob, with higher than expected takings on the first day of the re-launch. Feedback on the new look, feel and menu has been exceptional and forecasts moving forwards are very positive.”

Located on Greek Street, the re-launch of the Leeds La Tasca Bar & Kitchen follows the successful launch of the new concept in Windsor last month.
