Lloyds TSB Corporate Markets launches in Sheffield

LLOYDS TSB has opened a new office in Sheffield to provide a dedicated service to businesses with an annual turnover in excess of £15m.
A team of six will be running the office offering a full banking service for the mid- and large corporate market for South Yorkshire.
The team will be led by relationship directors Andrew Aisthorpe, who was recruited last year from HSBC, and Mark Wilcockson.
Lloyds TSB Corporate Markets already has long-established relationships with businesses in South Yorkshire, and has been working with companies in the area from its office in Leeds.
The company said the launch of an office in Sheffield is “recognition by Lloyds TSB Corporate Markets that South Yorkshire is an economic success in its own right”.
Mr Aisthorpe said: “We are delighted to have reached our goal and have an office dedicated solely to answering the business needs of South Yorkshire. We have a strong, highly driven and experienced team working with us – together we're looking forward to strengthening our ties with companies in the region, getting to know new businesses, and working more closely with local professionals.”
Mr Wilcockson, said: “Market conditions have been unsteady, but Lloyds TSB has shown that it is the bank to support, nurture and grow business in such testing times. We are proud to say to South Yorkshire: we're here and ready to do business.”
