Expansion for Card Factory
CARD Factory is continuing to expand after buying a 137,000 sq ft warehouse unit.
The unit on Otley Road in Shipley has been snapped up following the company’s recent purchase of printing business Printcraft.
Property consultants Knight Frank were the sole agents, acting for owners Havells Sylvania.
Owen Holder, the partner in charge of the industrial team at Knight Frank in Leeds, said: “The move is fantastic news as it means that 117 jobs are retained in the Shipley area.
“Although we live in challenging times, deals are still being done on quality buildings in excellent locations and this building and this location fitted the bill.”
Meanwhile Knight Frank has also let 20,000 sq ft at Hartley Business Park in Bradford to major employers Barrett Steel.
This is the first letting on the 120,000 sq ft refurbished accommodation for clients Hartley Property Trust. Eddisons are joint agents with Knight Frank.
