Humphrey joins IP board

CRODA chief executive Mike Humphrey has joined the board of research commercialisation firm IP Group.

Mr Humphrey has been in charge at Goole-based chemical firm Croda since 1999 and has overseen an eightfold rise in pre-tax profits.
 
He said: “I am pleased to be joining the board of IP Group. I am a strong believer in investing in innovation and IP Group has created a valuable portfolio of holdings in some of the UK’s most exciting new companies.

“I genuinely think IP Group is a really interesting company with a terrific future.”

IP Group’s portfolio includes a interests in a string of Yorkshire companies including  Tissue Regenix and Tracsis.
