Warner steps down at Animalcare

VETERINARY supplies firm Animalcare is on the hunt for a new chief financial officer after announcing Peter Warner is to leave the business.
Mr Warner will step down from the board immediately and is expected to leave the firm by the end of December.
York-based Animalcare also announed the appointment of Raymond Harding as a new non-executive director.
Until last year Mr Harding was managing director of Cyton Bioscience, a consultancy to the animal health and pharmaceutical sectors.
Stephen Wildridge, chief executive of Animalcare, said: “We are very pleased to announce Raymond’s appointment to the Board. Raymond’s credentials in the veterinary world speak for themselves and we are very pleased to have attracted someone of his calibre to our business.
“In addition, I would like to express thanks to Peter on behalf of the board and shareholders for his contribution to the growth and development of Animalcare over the last few years and my personal thanks for his help and support during the time we worked together.”
Mr Harding has previously been both chairman of the Association of Veterinarians in Industry and president of the Federation of European Veterinarians in Industry and Research.
