Reburbishment of office space completes

A £1.6m refurbishment of an office building has been completed.
Elizabeth House in Queen Street, Leeds, provides 10,600 sq ft of office space.
Sheffield-based building and development company J F Finnegan, which bought the 25,000 sq ft Elizabeth House from Valad for an undisclosed price earlier this year, has appointed the Leeds office of Knight Frank to jointly market the building with Bowcliffes.
Law firm Clarion is to relocate its headquarters to Elizabeth House from Oxford Place in Leeds.
It has agreed a 15-year lease for 15,000 sq ft on three floors and will move its 100-strong team in the spring of 2012.
Dawa Singh, the development, design and build manager of J F Finnegan, said: “This has been an extremely exciting and intense project to work on, with major decisions like the purchase of the building and Clarion’s decision to relocate, happening very swiftly one after the other.
“The remaining space is available now and we are happy to provide a complete turn-key fit-out service for any new occupiers.”
The five-storey building is the former headquarters of Leeds law firm Irwin Mitchell.
