LAW firm Dickinson Dees has added Naeem Hashmi to its corporate team.

Mr Hashmi joins the firm’s York office from Addleshaw Goddard’s Manchester office.

Senior partner John Marshall said: “We are competing for and winning an increasing amount of corporate work in Yorkshire which is helping us to attract high quality lawyers from outside the region.

ACCOUNTANCy firm Winburn Glass Norfolk has appointed a business manager as it looks to expand.

Pamela Beaton, who worked for Business Link for 13 years, has joined the Leeds-based company.

Partner Colin Glass said he believed WGN could help fill the gap left by Business Link advisors no longer being on the ground in Yorkshire.

Mr Glass said: “At a time when sustainable SMEs are needed more than ever to fuel recovery in the economy, when we are experiencing difficult economic conditions, we believe WGN’s entrepreneurial model can, to some degree, replace the support mechanism that is being stripped back as part of the Government cuts.”

Ms Beaton is planning to roll out a programme of business workshops.

REX Procter & Parners has recruited Ian Kaye as a new projectIan Kaye Rex Procter manager.

Mr Kaye, an expert in food retail schemes, will be based in the firm’s Bradford office havng moved from Aedas Architects.

OIL mapping business GETECH has announced that David Roberts has resigned as a director of the company with effect from January 31.

Stuart Paton, chairman of the Leeds-based business, said: “On behalf of myself and the directors, I would like to thank David for the very substantial contributions he has made since joining the company in July 2005.

“We have valued his knowledge and insights and wish him all the very best for the future.”
