Inspirational Yorkshire prompts business launch

A YORKSHIRE-BASED graphic artist who was awarded a commission to create a 19-metre photographic mural depicting city life in Leeds has set up her own business.
Asha Munn has launched a Eyes Wide Open which offers a range of disciplines from editorial and event photography.
Customers already include include JD Wetherspoon, Education Leeds and theatre company Sprite Productions.
She has recently completed a large scale commission for a JD Wetherspoon in Millennium Square, Leeds.
The mural is just one of a series of commissions Ms Munn has completed for the UK-wide pub chain.
She said: “Yorkshire is inspiring for any artist but as a photographer working across a variety of disciplines it is an exciting place to work. I have undertaken a number of commissions using backdrops such as Leeds city centre, the Cow and Calf Rocks in Ilkley and Fountains Abbey.”
