CapeClarke launched by former lawyers

TWO former lawyers have launched a legal recruitment consultancy.
Terry Cape and Chris Clarke have launched Leeds-based CapeClake.
The business will have a focus on the Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool, Sheffield and Newcastle markets.
Mr Cape previously worked for legal recruitment firm Re Legal and prior to that spent five years with Addleshaw Goddard in Leeds as a commercial property lawyer.
Mr Clarke completed his legal training at Walker Morris where he worked for two years before making the move to legal recruitment two years ago.
Mr Cape said: “Thanks to our legal backgrounds we are expertly placed to handle the complexities of recruiting for the sector.
“We appreciate the benefits, pressures and burdens of working for a top commercial law firm and understand what drives solicitors in their career objectives and goals.
“We have established our own firm as we wanted to have the creative freedom to run the business our own way with a real focus on the needs and wants of clients and candidates.”
Fellow director Mr Clarke said: “We believe that legal recruitment is about relationships and CapeClarke’s aim is to act in the best interests of our clients and candidates.”
