Catt signs for Yorkshire Bank

YORKSHIRE Bank has signed England World Cup winning rugby player Mike Catt as an ambassador for the company.
Mr Catt, who brought his playing career to an end in May, will be taking part in business and community events organised by the bank across the region.
The former England international was part of the team that won the World Cup in Australia and 2003 and is now attack coach with the Premiership rugby side London Irish.
He said: “Yorkshire Bank has a strong commitment to its local communities and its loyalty and enthusiasm in supporting sport is magnificent.
“Rugby teaches essential life skills such as team work, determination and discipline and, through my work with Yorkshire Bank, I will be developing these at coaching sessions throughout Yorkshire.”
Richard Norrington, Yorkshire Bank’s east regional director for integrated Financial Solutions, said “Mike Catt’s role as a Yorkshire Bank ambassador will see him take part in coaching sessions on the pitch and inspiring businesses in the boardroom.
“His appointment is further indication of our commitment to developing Yorkshire’s future sporting and business talent.”
Yorkshire Bank’s six Yorkshire financial solutions centres are based at Bradford, Doncaster, Hull, Leeds, Sheffield and York.
