Expansion following Harrow Green AIM deal

BUSINESS relocation specialist Harrow Green is set to expand its operations in Yorkshire following the group’s acquisition by AIM-listed Restore.
The company has taken 6,000 sq ft of additional storage space in Leeds.
Restore bought Harrow Green for £7.25m.
The new facility at Whitehall Park will act as a store for office furniture recovered from client moves, much of which is re-used or recycled.
It will also free-up existing space to allow for the growth of the company’s records management division.
Offices services group Restore already provides workplace change services including records management, document scanning, relocation and recycling services.
The company also owns Peter Cox, a market leader in damp proofing and timber treatment throughout the UK.
Harrow Green, which was founded in 1983, is the UK market leader in office relocations and a provider of records management services.
The London-headquartered company serves a large and diverse range of clients from small, local businesses, to multi-site, international, blue-chip corporations and a wide range of public sector bodies.
Harrow Green also operates an international relocations business, and owns a 50% share in Relocom, a specialist IT relocation provider.
Nigel Dews, Harrow Green’s managing director, said: “Both companies are very excited about the prospects ahead as we combine the considerable talents, systems and technology of our businesses.
“Like Harrow Green, Restore is proud to benefit from extremely strong and long lasting relationships with clients and suppliers. We believe this is an extremely positive move for each of our companies and our focus will be on continuing to deliver superior levels of service and customer satisfaction.”
