Senior appointment at RBS

THE Royal Bank of Scotland has announced it has appointed Mike Needham as the new head of its structured debt operations in the North.
In his new role Mr Needham will lead a six-strong team based in Leeds which will specialises in providing bespoke funding solutions to support leveraged financed transactions such as acquisitions, management buyout and management buy in type deals.
The team provides support to SME businesses across the region that have a turnover of between £1m and £25m.
Mr Needham was previously regional director for RBS’ Commercial Banking operations in Yorkshire and the North East.
During his career with the RBS Group he has also held several other senior management positions.
He said: “The North has a very strong SME market and our primary focus is to provide business owners with the necessary support and advice to help them achieve their goals. We can only be as successful as our customers and our aim is to become a trusted advisor and partner to their business.”
