Complete Office Solutions accelerates expansion plan

OFFICE supplier Complete Office Solutions has acquired a fellow Yorkshire business as part of its growth strategy.

Yorkshire Business Equipment, which trades as United Office Products, has been bought by Wakefield-based Complete Office Solutions.

United Office Products, which has annual turnover of £4.5m, is based in Rotherham and runs a number of distribution centres.

The deal takes Complete Office’s group turnover to £15m and adds a further 40 staff to its 65-strong team.

United Office’s management team are all taking seats on the Complete Office board.

Richard Coulson, managing director of Complete Office, said the deal was the first of several planned by the group as it works to achieve turnover of £30m within five years.

Complete Office has also launched its ‘Synergy Programme’ which allows dealers to make use of the company’s back office and logistics with a view to adding value when the owners decide to exit from their businesses.

“The synergy programme is specifically designed to allow independent dealers to build value into their business using proven management processes,” said Mr Coulson.
 
United Office Products offers products including office interiors, print management, telecoms and workwear.
