Film studio launched by The Awakening Agency

WHAT is being hailed as one of the largest film studios outside London has been launched in Yorkshire.

Established by Andy Hardwick, The Awakening Agency in Leeds offers state-of-the-art facilities for film, digital, design and content production.

The media centre includes a 4,500 sq ft main studio with vehicle access, a dedicated green screen studio – the largest outside London – plus editing and audio suites.

With 16 years’ industry experience, Mr Hardwick has worked on many film-based projects for large brands during his time agencies including Cravens Advertising, Poulters, Dig For Fire, 20:20, Williams Lea Creative and, most recently, Savvy.

The Awakening Agency has launched with 10 staff including former Publicis Groupe media expert Allan Moffat who has taken the role of commercial director.

Mr Hardwick said: “Over the last 12 months we’ve been building and fitting out our media centre into what is now one of the biggest film studios in the country outside London.

“The Awakening Agency will fill a gap in the North of England for creative, digital content and film production services with a one-stop-shop media facility. 

“It gives us the capability to produce and edit video, film, animation, music, voice-overs all from a dedicated, flexible facility with the support of specialist art direction, film, set build, lighting and special effects crews.”
