HML swoops for Capita man as CFO

FINANCIAL outsourcer HML has appointed Nick Bedford as its chief financial officer.

Mr Bedford joins Skipton Building Society’s mortgage services division from Capita, where he held a range of senior finance positions, including senior divisional finance director for regulated business.

Mr Bedford said: “HML has been through change, but it has emerged stronger and is now entering a period where there is high potential for growth in new and existing markets.

“I was attracted to joining an established yet progressive organisation in a sector I’m familiar with. I understand the need for outsourcers to offer value to clients throughout the relationship and the importance of a strategic partnership approach to business.”

Mr Bedford will be responsible for HML’s finance and business intelligence divisions.

Andrew Jones, HML’s chief executive, said: “Nick brings experience and contacts to our executive team. His client-focused approach to the job is an excellent fit with our strategy and one I’m sure will resonate with our clients.”

HML manages around £43bn worth of mortgage assets for around 50 clients.
