Findel shops for upgrade with Belgravium

BELGRAVIUM Technologies has secured a contract with home shopping business Findel.

The tie-up will see the Bradford-based mobile computing specialist upgrade the parcel despatch operations at Findel’s Express Gifts division.

It follows this week’s announcement that Belgravium has won its first UK customer for a new chip and pin technology-based system that can be used on aircraft.

The contract with Findel will see the supply of Belgravium’s newly designed Atlanta 5000 handheld terminals as well as related software and support systems.

The devices will provide a faster and reliable data capture information system within the despatch operations of Express Gifts based in Accrington, Lancashire.

Express Gifts handles approximately 1.5m customer transactions every year.

Mark Hardy, chief executive of Belgravium Technologies, said: “We are delighted to have been able to provide Express Gifts with this upgraded solution which will significantly enhance their parcel dispatch operations and give them greater visibility, transparency and control as well as efficiency.

“It’s also good to see that the Atlanta 5000 is being well received amongst our customers and we are confident that this will continue as the market sees the benefits that it delivers.”
