Bardsley secures University contract

BARDSLEY Construction has secured a contract for renovations at a Yorkshire university.
The £1.3m project will see two floors of the JB Priestley Library at the University of Bradford given a new look.
Adrian Rooney, the Leeds-based Yorkshire regional manager for Bardsley Construction, said: “This is our latest project for the University of Bradford and we look forward to working with a committed design team and the University’s Estates team to achieve the University’s aspirations of a modern library facility to meet the changing demand of student education.”
The scheme will see walls removed, new light wells installed and windows added to bring the 1970s building into the 21st Century.
Estate manager Russell Smith said: “This is a crucial project that will improve the estate further and enhance the student experience whilst reducing our carbon footprint and producing a building that can face the future with confidence.”
The project is due to be completed in October.
