LDD heads in new direction

IT reseller LDD Group is setting up a wholesale telecoms division.

The business, to be led by Paul Abraham, will focus on selling LDD branded telecomes packages to firms of all size.

Group sales director Mandi Iles said: “It’s impossible to ignore the convergence of the IT and telecoms market.  We are ambitious and our financial growth in the last two years reflects that, so moving into wholesale telecoms was the logical next step for us.

“With our 19 years of IT and customer service experience, we are ideally positioned to leverage our existing product portfolio and our new telco offering to build a great value proposition.”

Leeds-based DPP recorded turnover of £11.6m last year and is forecasting that to rise to £30m in the next three years.

It is partnered with businesses including Daisy Wholesale, 02 and BT Openreach for its new wholesale offer.

Existing customers include Nike UK, Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and Symphony Group.
