Building Briefs – Winter cafe for White Rose, investment lots at auction, and more
PLANNING permission has been granted at White Rose Office Park for a series of improvements.
The projects at the Leeds site include a winter café, an improved entrance to the O2 building and an extension to the Hub building.
The Winter Café will resemble a glass cube and sit on top of the grassed roof of the on-site car park. The approved planning for the The Hub will create an additional 2,300 sq ft of space for the on-site restaurant, creating a fully glazed extension to the already bustling restaurant.
The latest permission comes on the back of the recent announcement that staff at White Rose Office Park will be able to have their children looked after by an onsite crèche which was awarded planning permission in May.

SEVERFIELD Reeve Projects welcomed The Bishop of Durham to the site of Darlington’s All Saints Church to lay the foundation stone for the new church being designed and built by the Thirsk-based developer.
Severfield-Reeve Projects and the Right Reverend Nicholas Wright were joined by the Church’s vicar John Dobson, the Mayor Councillor Ian Hazeldine and members of the church’s congregation.
The laying of the stone marks an important landmark of the church’s build which is due to complete in time for Christmas this year. The original church was demolished to make way for the new structure which is the first parish church to be built in Darlington for more than 50 years.
Severfield-Reeve has been involved with the project from the beginning. The construction specialist played an important part in the fundraising process working with the church’s committee and vicar putting together conceptual designs.
