Storage facilities with a difference launched

A NEW company bringing storage facilities into the 21st century has just launched to serve the Harrogate and Ripon district.

Ewestore Self Storage, which has an 8,000sq ft warehouse at Barker Business Park, Melmerby, near Ripon, has been set up to offer a storage service with a difference.

Unlike traditional facilities customers are allocated a storage room complete with their own lock and key enabling them to access their belongings at any time.

Storage rooms range in size from 10 to 100sq ft and are guarded by 24-hour CCTV and the latest high-tech security systems.

The facility has been founded by Val Evans, Malcolm Everard and Mark Wilson, who also head Ripon–based removals firm A&G Removals.

Mr Evans said: “We think we have seen a niche in the local market for this kind of service. Nobody in this area provides anything like it.

“The crucial difference between this and existing storage facilities available in this area is the flexibility of the system. Our two companies will also dovetail together nicely as we can not only store clients’ belongings but also provide transport when they wish to move them.”

A&G Removals was founded in 1998 and has offices in Spain and Portugal.
