Business owner has designs on growth

A PRODUCT designer is looking to exploit international opportunities after moving to new premises.

Nathan Bestwick, owner of Yormii, has set up a base Matrix Business Centre in Dinnington, South Yorkshire.

Mr Bestwick, who holds a first class degree in product design from Sheffield Hallam University, is behind the milllmii pepper grinder.

The product offers a way of grinding peppercorns for those with limited strength and dexterity.

Mr Bestwick has taken advantage of an European Regional Development Fund project called Growth and Prosperity in Rotherham, run by Rotherham Investment & Development Office, to enable him to move premises.

As part of the move, Yormii is eligible to access a mentor to help explore and develop international opportunities.

Mr Bestwick is looking to take on workshop space within the business centre that is four times the size of his present unit.

He intends to use this for warehousing space for products, to take on new staff and also to set up a photography studio that he can use for taking images of his products.

Mr Bestwick plans to launch three new products within the homewares sector.
