Calder Park to get another prestige office development

PLANNING permission for a £10m office development at Calder Park has been granted.

Developers Peel believe that the 32,000sq ft site, which is located close to Kingfisher House and visible from the M1, will be in very high demand.

As well as boasting high specification, Osprey House is set to achieve a “very good” BREEAM rating, which takes into consideration environmental issues such as energy use, ecology, pollution, material selection, transportation, health and wellbeing.

Nick Hey at Peel said that with Kingfisher House now let, there was a niche at Calder Park for a building such as Osprey House.

“Calder Park is the perfect place for occupiers to relocate,” he added.

“It has excellent motorway links, free parking and competitive rates, not to mention a 100 nature acre nature reserve on its doorstep.”

Paul Fairhurst, of joint letting agents Savills said:

“Osprey House will be a great addition to Calder Park and has a fantastic offering for potential occupiers.

“The quality of the park and the excellent demographic profile and site amenities continue to attract occupiers.”
