DATONG clinches £7.5m deal

INTELLIGENCE gathering products firm DATONG has won a £7.5m contract.

The two-year deal will see the company develop supply and test a system as well as integrating its own products with those from other suppliers.

Mark Cook, chief executive of DATONG, said: “DATONG is delighted with the award of this significant contract which demonstrates the customers’ on-going confidence in our ability to deliver market-leading solutions to meet the constantly evolving security threat. 

“This contract also aligns perfectly with DATONG’s strategy of core product development and partnering with other leading companies to deliver highly capable system solutions.”

DATONG said the contract included an “enhanced version of a DATONG product which has generated significant UK and export interest since its recent launch”.
