Knight Frank appointed as St Andrew’s House has refurb

A 15,000 sq ft office building in Leeds city centre is undergoing a major refurbishment.

Knight Frank has been appointed as marketing agents for St Andrew’s House, which is situated on the corner of Park Row and The Headrow.

Carter Towler is joint lettings agent on the building with Knight Frank.

Elizabeth Ridler, partner with Knight Frank in Leeds, said: “This is a prestigious appointment to market a property, whose reception and first floor have just undergone a major refurbishment.

“St Andrew’s House was originally redeveloped in the 1970s and was a façade retention scheme, with the Park Row elevation carrying listed building status.”

The building’s landlord is Luri 5 Pension Fund and tenants include business recovery specialists Geoffrey Martin and Co, Cheltenham and Gloucester Building Society and Caffe Nero.

There is presently 3,970 sq ft of office space to rent at the building.

Ms Ridler added: “The four-storey building is undergoing a radical transformation under the guidance of the Leeds office of Knight Frank, which manages the property. Our building consultancy has overseen the refurbishment of the reception area, which is now fit for the 21st Century and has a modern well-lit airy feel to it.

“The office suites themselves are in the process of being upgraded with the first floor having already been refurbished.”
