Sanderson Weatherall moves for Edwards and Partners

EDWARDS and Partners, a niche surveying practice specialising in the valuation and sale of holiday and mobile home parks, has been acquired by Sanderson Weatherall.
With offices in Easingwold, North Yorkshire, and Tiverton, Devon, leisure property specialist Edwards and Partners will operate as a division of Sanderson Weatherall, which has an office in Leeds.
Sanderson Weatherall said it had made the acquisition to further its growing presence in the leisure market.
Adam Burkinshaw, partner in leisure at Sanderson Weatherall, said: “We believe this acquisition is a fantastic move; incorporating one of the best respected names in this sector will add value to our current offering.
“It complements our existing specialisms and we anticipate the new division will generate new and exciting opportunities for our business.”
Edwards and Partners, established for more than 35 years, specialises in the sale, purchase, valuation and consultancy of holiday centres, caravan parks and mobile home parks around the UK.
It presently has around 80 sites with a total value of £130m on its books.
Founding partner of Edwards and Partners, Paul Edwards, said: “Joining forces with Sanderson Weatherall is a wonderful opportunity for us to enhance and expand our specialist service.
“Whilst clients will continue to receive the same expert advice from the established Edwards team, we will also be able to draw on Sanderson Weatherall’s wide property experience and contacts”.
Mr Edwards and Chris Tucker have been appointed equity partners in the expanded business and all seven of Edwards and Partners’s staff will be retained.
