Yorkshire duo launch online HR tool

TWO Yorkshire businessmen have joined forces to launch an innovative online HR tool kit aimed at the region’s SMEs.

Rob Wilmot, of Quba New Media, and Jon Curtis, of Ironmonger Curtis solicitors, have developed H2Ronline.com, a tool which helps with the day-to-day HR tasks in small to medium sized businesses.

The H2R system is designed specifically for businesses with between five and 500 employees and tracks sickness absence, handles contracts of employment and handbook, manages holiday requests, and handles task delegation, appraisals, and document storage.

The system also provides employment law advice, with online training modules and standardised forms provided by Sheffield-based commercial law firm Ironmonger Curtis.

H2R is web-based – providing secure control of employee information from any internet-connected computer – without the need to install any software.

Mr Wilmot was one of the co-founders of internet company Freeserve, which was sold to a division of France Telecom in 2001 for £1.6bn.

Rob WilmotMr Wilmot said “There is a very real need for this product. It’s the ideal tonic for companies that have reached a certain size where keeping track of the day to day staff administration is starting to become a pain.

“Managing employees is one of the biggest challenges faced by growing businesses. H2Ronline.com gives access to the kind of functionality that until now was only to be available to the biggest employers”
