Sponsors line-up for charity football kick-off
MORE high profile sponsors have signed up to support this year’s Yorkshire Property Charity Football match.
Joining recently announced sponsors Towngate and Harworth Estates, Walker Morris, Barclays, Norland and Shepherd Group are backing the annual fundraiser for Barnardo’s.
Walker Morris is sponsoring the man of the match award, Shepherd Group is the ball sponsor, Barclays is the table sponsor and Norland the match day bar sponsor.
Jeremy Moore, head of the real estate group at Walker Morris said: “The Walker Morris real estate group was delighted to be given the opportunity to be a sponsor of the Yorkshire Property Charity Football Match again this year.
“We have been involved with this event for a number of years and believe that this is always a fantastic event held for a very worthy cause, even if the standard of the footballing talent in the real estate community leaves a lot to be desired!”
Rob Giles, of Norland Managed Services, said: Norland is proud to be sponsoring this successful event and worthy charity for the second year running.”
Ashley Airey, relationship director at Barclays, said: “It’s great that we’ve been able to support the Yorkshire Property Charity Football event this year to help raise funds for Barnado’s. Partnering with so many well known Yorkshire firms is a great way of raising much needed funds for this fantastic charity that supports vulnerable young people who suffer from abuse, homelessness, poverty and disability.

Harworth Estates is sponsoring the client and professional’s football team while Towngate the agents.
The major names have been secured by the committee organising the afternoon match, which is to be held at MEPC’s Wellington Place scheme in Leeds on Thursday, September 12, followed by a dinner at The Queens hotel.
