News in Brief: TWL signs deal with Middlesbrough; Resolve IT plans for growth; and more

THE Weather Lottery has continued its string of football signings with a new deal to become the on-line gaming partner of Middlesbrough FC.
It is the latest in a series of deals TWL has signed with Football League clubs as it rolls out its new FCBetz.com onling gaming brand.
The latest deal will see TWL provide Middlesbrough with on-line gaming products and run the club’s lottery scheme under another new brand “FC Lotto”.
TWL chairman Lord Razzall said: “Middlesbrough are known as a well run and ambitious club. The club has an important place in the community and attracts considerable and very loyal support. In signing this contract, TWL is I believe, establishing an important presence in the market.
“Once again we are delighted to become the on-line gaming and lottery partner and look forward to a successful and profitable relationship to the benefit of Middlesbrough Football Club and its fans.”

LEEDS Building Society has won the best regional network award at the Your Money Direct Awards 2010.
It was presented with the award at a dinner held at the Merchant Taylors’ Hall in the City of London.
Paul Kaye, general manager for sales at Leeds Building Society, said: “To come out on top in this award is a testament to the quality of service our staff provide, throughout our 65 strong national branch network, and the competitive products that we have brought to the market.”

SHEFFIELD-based Resolve IT has moved offices within the city after experiencing its most successful year of trading.
Established six years ago, Resolve has grown staff from sevn to 11 and doubled turnover its last financial year.
The company provides IT services and has clients including schools and both regional and national businesses.
Andrew Seaton, managing director and founder of Resolve IT, said: “We have secured a number of large national and local contracts which gives us great confidence for the future. Our aim is to achieve another 50% growth next year.”
